Hi! I am Chef Heather and I teach Baking and Pastry for Coastline ROP. I have been baking since I was ten years old- I loved every thing about the kitchen. When I was twenty I went to school in San Francisco at the California Culinary Academy. Upon completion of an externship at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Laguna Beach, I moved to Paris, France where I was able to work in an Italian restaurant and then at a boulangerie. When I returned to the states, I worked for several caterers and a wholesale bakery that services many of the Orange County's catering companies. I was then hired as the pastry chef at Citrus City Grille in Orange, CA. I worked there for several years then moved to Mr. Stox in Anaheim. After some time, I returned to Citrus City Grille as their executive pastry chef. Upon the birth of my first child I decided to take a small break and returned to the food industry as an instructor in 2004. In addition to my culinary endeavors, I am also a certified Pilates instructor and I make wedding cakes and cater on the side.
